The Power Dynamics PDI101 is a no-nonsense passive DI box built for Australian live sound, studio sessions and fixed installations where clean signal transfer is essential.

Designed to sit between high-impedance instruments and balanced mixing consoles, the PDI101 converts unbalanced signals while rejecting noise and interference. Its rugged black metal housing shrugs off the knocks of touring and venue life, and at just 0.35 kg and 120 mm long it slips easily into any gig bag or rack drawer.

Connect your instrument via the XLR Combo input, send a balanced line-level feed through the XLR output to the desk, and use the 6.3 mm jack loop-through to feed your amp or monitor simultaneously. The three-position attenuator (0, -20 or -40 dB) lets you tame hot pickups or line-level sources without distortion, while the ground lift switch quickly removes unwanted hum caused by ground loops.

With a wide 15 Hz – 30,000 Hz frequency response, the PDI101 delivers full-range audio that preserves the character of guitars, basses, keyboards and other instruments. Whether you’re on stage at a festival, in a corporate AV setup or installing permanent systems in venues, this compact DI box provides the essential interface between your gear and the house mix.

Simple, tough and effective — the PDI101 is a staple tool for any pro audio kit.
