Enhance your audio setup with the Vonyx WSD65 65mm Silk Dome Tweeter, delivering crystal-clear highs and natural sound reproduction. Ideal for hi-fi speaker upgrades or direct replacement of worn tweeters, this compact driver uses premium laminate silk dome technology and a neodymium magnet for smooth, fatigue-free performance. Perfect for both home and professional audio systems across Australia.
The Vonyx WSD65 Silk Dome Tweeter is a precision 65mm driver built to bring sparkling, natural high frequencies to any speaker system. Whether you're refreshing a tired pair of hi-fi speakers or completing a custom install, this compact tweeter delivers smooth detail that makes music and dialogue come alive.
At the heart of the WSD65 is its soft silk dome, treated with laminate technology to eliminate harshness while preserving every subtle nuance. Paired with a neodymium magnet, it provides refined, controlled highs that reduce listening fatigue and add warmth across the top end. The 20mm voice coil ensures excellent dispersion, making it equally at home in a domestic listening room or a small venue setup.
With 15W RMS and 30W peak power handling, the tweeter maintains composure even when pushed, offering consistent clarity without distortion. Its 8 Ohm impedance and 88dB sensitivity allow easy integration into most existing crossovers and amplifier configurations.
Installation is straightforward thanks to the rugged ABS faceplate, 55mm mounting diameter and shallow 9.3mm depth. The entire assembly measures just Ø65 x 12.5mm and weighs a mere 40 grams, so it slips neatly into tight enclosures without compromising cabinet design.
From home theatre upgrades to studio monitor repairs, the WSD65 is a reliable, great-sounding choice for anyone who demands accurate treble performance without complexity.
