Faital Pro HF146 16 Ohm is a 1.4 inch high-frequency driver offering 80 W AES power above 0.9 kHz and 109 dB sensitivity at 1 W/1 m. It covers 0.7 to 18 kHz with 16 Ohm impedance and 35.6 mm throat diameter using neodymium slug crown magnet, ketone polymer dome diaphragm and annular phase plug.
The Faital Pro HF146 16 Ohm compression driver delivers focused high-frequency output for demanding loudspeaker projects. Installers and system designers choose it when building compact line arrays or point-source cabinets that need consistent projection without excess weight.
Its neodymium slug crown magnet keeps overall mass low while the annular phase plug maintains smooth response across the operating band. The 35.6 mm throat mates cleanly with standard 1.4 inch horns found in both portable and fixed-install arrays.
Power handling reaches 80 W AES above 0.9 kHz and sensitivity sits at 109 dB, allowing fewer amplifiers in medium-scale events and venue clusters. The 16 Ohm nominal impedance also suits series-parallel wiring in larger arrays where amplifier channels must be maximised.
Frequency coverage from 0.7 kHz to 18 kHz gives engineers room to set crossover points that protect the driver while preserving vocal presence and air. The ketone polymer dome and Kapton former provide the durability required for repeated load-ins and long-term installation use.

A2: While we do do sales, we are predominantly a hire company so we do have some stock on hand but we dont have a storefront. If you'd like to get a demo on some equipment please call and we'll arrange an appointment to see the equipment if we have it available.

A3: We accept online card payment with MasterCard, VISA or direct deposit.

A4: Our online prices displayed all include GST and are shown in AUD currency.

Q5: When do I receive my order?
A5: Most orders are dispatched from Melbourne but some orders are dispatched from warehouses located in different states of Australia, sometimes items are sourced directly from suppliers. Delivery time will depend on the shipping country and address.
