When using both inputs; the signal will be summed as Mono. The use of unbalanced cables (e.g. mono jack) is also possible, however, balanced cables are preferable due to the greater noise immunity. 2x balanced THRU line inputs are also present. These also use 3-pin male XLR sockets. Aside from the rotary encoder for the total volume you also have several mode switches available. These modes offer 80 Hertz, 100 Hertz, 120 Hertz and Cardioid.
