The Outline FLYSUB15 is a compact flyable subwoofer delivering authoritative low-frequency extension to 35 Hz. Engineered for touring and installations, it pairs with the EIDOS 265 LA line array for a turnkey system with pristine clarity at high SPL. Its custom 15-inch double-spider transducer with 76 mm voice coil is bass-reflex loaded on an oblique baffle for enhanced tonal balance and reduced distortion. The robust birch plywood enclosure features ultra-light integrated rigging allowing up to six units to be flown with 0°–8° inter-box angles. It offers 500 W AES power handling, dual NL4 connectors for daisy-chaining two subs per amplifier channel, and recessed handles for easy transport.
The Outline FLYSUB15 brings powerful, musical low-end reinforcement to any professional sound system in a surprisingly compact and versatile package. Designed specifically to complement the EIDOS 265 LA line array, this flyable subwoofer extends frequency response down to 35 Hz while preserving clarity and impact even when pushed to extreme volume levels.
Built for real-world touring and high-end fixed installations, the FLYSUB15 earns its place in arenas, festivals, theatres and corporate venues where both sonic quality and sightlines matter. Its custom 15-inch transducer with a 76 mm voice coil and double-spider suspension is loaded in a bass-reflex enclosure with an oblique baffle, delivering tight, defined bass with remarkably low distortion.
Constructed from premium birch plywood and heavily braced to kill unwanted resonances, the trapezoidal cabinet maintains a minimal visual footprint. Integrated ultra-light rigging hardware allows up to six units to be flown together with precise 0° to 8° inter-box angle selection in 1° increments, giving system designers full control over coverage and aesthetics.
Handling 500 W AES (2000 W peak) and capable of reaching 140.5 dB SPL in half-space, the FLYSUB15 delivers the punch demanded by modern live events and permanent installs. Two paralleled NL4 connectors make integration simple, allowing two subwoofers to share a single channel of the recommended Outline T5-DSP amplifier for efficient system deployment.
Four recessed handles, durable high-grade coatings and optional flight cases ensure the FLYSUB15 survives life on the road while remaining quick to rig and de-rig. When you need authoritative, honest low frequency performance that integrates seamlessly into a flown array without compromising sightlines or clarity, the Outline FLYSUB15 is the professional choice.
