The Proel LTX8A is an 8-inch 2-way active wooden speaker from the LTX series, purpose-built for commercial and residential installations across Australia. Featuring a low-profile plywood cabinet with a discreet aesthetic, it blends seamlessly into any venue while delivering reliable, high-clarity audio. With 320W peak power, a 1” compression driver, and 90° x 90° coverage, it offers consistent performance for background music, corporate events, retail spaces and fixed installations.

The Proel LTX8A delivers crisp, full-range sound from a compact and elegant plywood cabinet that disappears into almost any setting. Designed primarily for fixed commercial and residential installations, this active 2-way speaker is equally at home in boardrooms, retail spaces, cafes, houses of worship and small event venues where unobtrusive looks and dependable performance matter most.

At the heart of the LTX8A is a precisely engineered 1” compression driver paired with an 8” high-excursion woofer, both housed in a vented plywood enclosure. The symmetrical 90° x 90° horn ensures even coverage whether the speaker is mounted horizontally or vertically, giving system designers and installers the flexibility they need for consistent audience coverage across a room.

With 320W peak power from dual Class D amplifiers and an efficient SMPS power supply, the LTX8A stays surprisingly light at just 7 kg while still reaching a maximum SPL of 121 dB. Its frequency response of 70 Hz – 20 kHz delivers tight, musical bass and clear highs without the need for additional subwoofers in many background or light foreground applications.

Installation is made simple with the included tilt-and-swivel KPTLTP bracket, three M8 and two M6 flying points, plus a bottom pole socket for portable stand use. The rear panel offers combo input and XLR link output, level control and universal mains power, making integration into both permanent systems and temporary setups straightforward for AV professionals across Australia.

Built tough yet refined, the LTX8A proves that professional audio doesn’t need to dominate a space visually. It quietly gets on with the job of delivering clean, controlled sound exactly where it’s needed.
