Proel PRO1991-D+ Professional Cast Iron Base Straight Microphone Stand - Black
The Proel PRO1991-D+ delivers stable microphone support with a heavy cast iron base that keeps mics rock-solid on stage, in the studio or rehearsal rooms. Its clever U-shaped design allows stacking up to six stands for efficient storage while the anti-vibration rubber ring reduces noise and protects floors. Height adjusts smoothly from 875 mm to 1545 mm via a high-resistance nylon sleeve, making this matte black stand a practical choice for busy AV setups across Australia.
When your production demands a reliable straight microphone stand that won’t wobble or take up unnecessary room, the Proel PRO1991-D+ is the Australian pro-audio choice. Built around a heavy die-cast iron base, this stand delivers the solid foundation needed for vocal mics, spoken-word presentations and instrument miking in venues, rehearsal studios and live events across the country.
The 255 mm round base is fitted with an anti-vibration rubber ring that quietly damps floor-borne rumble while protecting delicate timber or polished surfaces. Its clever U-shaped footprint means up to six stands can be neatly stacked when the gig is over, solving the eternal problem of limited storage space in hire warehouses, churches and multipurpose halls.
Height is adjusted between 875 mm and 1545 mm using two robust steel tubes guided by an ergonomic high-resistance nylon sleeve. The mechanism feels smooth under pressure yet locks securely, allowing fast changes between artists or setups without tools or fuss. At 3.84 kg the stand remains portable enough for one-person load-in while still feeling planted once positioned.
A 3/8″ threaded insert is supplied with a 5/8″ adapter so it works with virtually any microphone clip or shockmount you already own. For users who occasionally need more flexibility, the stand can be quickly converted into a telescopic boom by adding the optional PRO1991-G accessory, future-proofing your inventory without buying separate models.
Finished in a discreet matte black, the PRO1991-D+ blends into any stage or studio environment while standing up to the daily rigours of professional AV hire and installation work. Whether you’re outfitting a permanent church sound system, a touring DJ rig or a busy corporate event kit, these stands deliver dependable performance and smart space-saving design in one well-priced package.
