The AVE Prostand T290BOX-2M gives you a ready 2 m box truss section that fits straight into stage builds and event structures. It works equally well as a vertical support or as part of an overhead grid where you need repeatable spacing and solid connections.
High-grade aluminium forms the main frame, with 50 mm main tubes and 20 mm diagonal bracing that keeps the 290 mm square profile rigid under load. At 14 kg the section remains manageable for crew handling during load-in and strike.
Four connectors arrive with the truss, so you can link additional lengths without hunting for hardware. The same connectors also let you tie the section into larger Prostand truss systems when your layout grows beyond a single 2 m piece.
Use the T290BOX-2M upright as a lighting totem beside a DJ booth or stage deck, or lay it horizontally for short overhead runs above smaller venues. Its entertainment-standard 290 mm box format matches common truss accessories, making it simple to add base plates, clamps or cross braces as the design requires.
Because the truss is supplied unrated, always confirm load requirements with the engineer or venue before final installation. The clean black finish blends with typical stage environments and reduces visual distraction once lighting is focused.

A2: While we do do sales, we are predominantly a hire company so we do have some stock on hand but we dont have a storefront. If you'd like to get a demo on some equipment please call and we'll arrange an appointment to see the equipment if we have it available.

A3: We accept online card payment with MasterCard, VISA or direct deposit.

Q4: Does the price include GST?
A4: Our online prices displayed all include GST and are shown in AUD currency.

Q5: When do I receive my order?
A5: Most orders are dispatched from Melbourne but some orders are dispatched from warehouses located in different states of Australia, sometimes items are sourced directly from suppliers. Delivery time will depend on the shipping country and address.

A6: Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country.
