SKU
CCD16
The Vonyx CCD16 delivers crystal-clear audio and serious power in a compact 6.5-inch coaxial compression driver. Engineered with a 2” compression CCAW voice coil, resonance-free die-cast aluminium basket and optimised cooling, it handles up to 600W max while covering a wide 90Hz–20kHz range. Ideal for professional installs, stage monitors and high-output DJ systems where clarity and punch matter.
The Vonyx CCD16 is a high-performance 6.5-inch coaxial compression driver built for professionals who need accurate, high-output sound in tight spaces. Combining a midrange woofer with a precision compression horn driver in a single point-source unit, it reproduces every detail with impressive clarity across a wide frequency range.
Whether you’re designing compact stage monitors, installing into venue ceilings, powering DJ booths or building line-array elements, the CCD16 earns its place through clean vocal intelligibility and strong mid-bass punch. Its 2” CCAW compression voice coil and 45 oz ferrite magnet deliver authoritative presence while the optimised cooling system ensures reliable performance even during long, high-volume sets.
Housed in a resonance-free die-cast aluminium basket, the driver minimises unwanted vibrations for tighter, more accurate sound. With 300W RMS and 600W peak power handling, it provides the headroom needed for demanding live and installed applications without sacrificing dynamics or introducing distortion.
The slim 120mm depth and 151mm mounting diameter make it easy to integrate into custom cabinets or tight enclosures, while the dual impedance (8Ω high / 4Ω low) gives system designers flexibility. From portable PA rigs to permanent installations, the CCD16 consistently delivers the power, control and fidelity that audio professionals rely on.
