CCD20
Bring clear midrange and full-range reproduction to compact installations with the Vonyx CCD20. This 8-inch coaxial driver combines a woofer with an integrated high-compression horn driver, housed in a die-cast aluminium frame for reduced resonance. Its slim design makes it ideal for space-conscious pro AV enclosures while delivering up to 1200W max power and crisp, articulate sound.
The Vonyx CCD20 is a purpose-built 8-inch coaxial compression driver that delivers articulate full-range audio in installations where every millimetre of enclosure space counts. Perfect for compact venue systems, fixed installs in bars and cafes, or tight DJ booth monitors, it combines a powerful woofer with a centrally mounted high-compression horn driver in a single assembly for coherent coverage from 70Hz right up to 20kHz.
Whether you need crisp speech reinforcement or musical detail that cuts through the mix, the CCD20 excels by focusing on midrange clarity. Its CCAW voice coil and integrated horn design ensure spoken word remains intelligible and instruments sit naturally, making it a smart choice for everything from background music in commercial spaces to foreground playback in smaller event setups.
Power is never an issue with a robust 600W RMS and 1200W peak rating, giving system designers plenty of headroom for demanding program material. The die-cast aluminium frame keeps the assembly rigid and resonance-free, while the slim 123mm mounting depth and overall Ø210 x 133mm footprint allow it to drop into tight cabinets without compromise.
Built for real-world Australian pro AV work, the black-finished CCD20 is equally at home as a replacement driver or as the heart of a new compact enclosure. Its 8-ohm impedance and 93dB sensitivity make integration straightforward with common amplifiers, delivering reliable performance that installers and venue technicians trust.
