Axiom SW36XFP Dual 18" Passive Flyable Subwoofer
SKU
SW36XFP
The Axiom SW36XFP is a dual 18 inch passive flyable subwoofer designed to be flown with AX2010P line array modules. It provides bass from above down to 36 Hz. Manifold and bandpass loading achieves 143 dB peak output from dual 18 inch drivers with 4 inch Tetracoil voice coils in a compact cabinet.
The Axiom SW36XFP gives event producers and venue installers a practical way to add serious low-frequency extension to a flown line array without extra floor space or ground-stacked subs.
Positioned at the head of an AX2010P cluster, the sub’s integrated rigging hardware locks directly into the array frame while its curved grille maintains a consistent visual line. The result is a tidy, professional-looking system that delivers bass from above, ideal for theatres, corporate ballrooms and mid-scale live events where sightlines matter.
Inside the compact birch cabinet, manifold and bandpass loading work together to produce usable output down to 36 Hz and a peak SPL of 143 dB. Dual 18-inch drivers fitted with 4-inch Tetracoil voice coils provide the moving mass of much larger single coils, giving the sub the headroom needed for punchy electronic music or full-range speech reinforcement.
Because the SW36XFP is passive, power and processing are handled by external amplification, keeping the flown weight to a minimum and allowing system designers to match existing racks. Four rear handles and optional castors make ground transport straightforward between gigs.
When the brief calls for even coverage and controlled low end without cluttering the stage, the SW36XFP offers a clean, high-output solution that integrates seamlessly with Axiom line-array elements.
