The Faital Pro HF140 16Ω is a 1.4-inch compression driver for loudspeaker systems requiring high sensitivity and a minimum crossover frequency of 0.9 kHz. It has 16 ohm impedance, 70 W AES power above 0.9 kHz, 109 dB sensitivity at 1W/1m, titanium dome diaphragm, 74 mm voice coil, annular phase plug design and 0.5 to 18 kHz frequency range.
Built for high-output loudspeaker designs that demand both clarity and efficiency, the Faital Pro HF140 16Ω compression driver gives system builders a reliable 1.4-inch solution. Its titanium dome and annular phase plug work together to maintain smooth response while handling the demands of live sound and installed audio.
Installers choose this driver when they need strong acoustic output without excessive amplifier power. The 109 dB sensitivity rating means less heat and lower running costs in fixed installations, while the 70 W AES rating above 0.9 kHz provides headroom for peaks in venues, houses of worship and small-to-medium events.
The 16 ohm impedance allows multiple drivers to be paralleled on a single amplifier channel without dropping below safe loads. Frequency coverage from 0.5 kHz to 18 kHz lets designers create two-way or three-way systems that stay natural through the vocal range and into the highs.
With a standard 1.4-inch throat, the HF140 16Ω mounts directly to common constant-directivity horns. Its compact 2.9 kg weight keeps total enclosure mass manageable for flown arrays or portable point-source cabinets.
