The Proel FREESUBX brings powerful low-end extension to any portable audio rig without tying you to a power outlet. Designed for mobile DJs, small events and roving performers, this battery-powered subwoofer slips easily into a car boot or onto a trolley, letting you deliver chest-thumping bass wherever the job takes you.
At its heart sit dual 8-inch woofers with 2-inch voice coils, powered by a Class D amplifier that supplies 600 W peak and 300 W continuous. The bass-reflex cabinet, tuned with DSP, reaches down to 40 Hz while hitting a very usable 120 dB max SPL, giving your portable tops or column speakers the weight and authority they need for dance floors, presentations and live acoustic sets.
Run time is a genuine 5 hours at medium levels thanks to the 8800 mAh Lithium-ion battery. When the gig runs longer, the second battery compartment and hot-swappable design mean you can swap packs in seconds and keep the music flowing. A full recharge takes less than four hours, so you’re back on the road quickly.
Connection is equally flexible. Bluetooth 5.0 handles wireless stereo streaming and True Wireless Stereo pairing, while balanced XLR inputs, links and outputs let you integrate the sub into any existing setup. Onboard controls for volume, phase, filter and output mode give you fast, accurate tuning on site without needing a laptop.
Built tough yet surprisingly compact at just 23.5 kg, the FREESUBX features a robust polypropylene and MDF enclosure with a powder-coated steel grille and a convenient top carry handle. The side-mounted M20 pole socket allows you to mount a satellite speaker directly on top, creating a clean, self-contained portable PA solution that looks as professional as it sounds.

Q2: Can i get a demo of the equipment?
A2: While we do do sales, we are predominantly a hire company so we do have some stock on hand but we dont have a storefront. If you'd like to get a demo on some equipment please call and we'll arrange an appointment to see the equipment if we have it available.

Q3: What are the accepted payment methods?
A3: We accept online card payment with MasterCard, VISA or direct deposit.

A4: Our online prices displayed all include GST and are shown in AUD currency.

Q5: When do I receive my order?
A5: Most orders are dispatched from Melbourne but some orders are dispatched from warehouses located in different states of Australia, sometimes items are sourced directly from suppliers. Delivery time will depend on the shipping country and address.

A6: Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country.
